The Advisory Board grounds this initiative in ancestral knowledge, ensuring our efforts reflect the cultural values, traditions, and environmental guardianship of the Ogiek people. Their leadership strengthens every aspect of our work, from storytelling to forest stewardship, connecting past, present, and future through Indigenous wisdom.
We start by meeting with the Ogiek community to understand their needs and aspirations. This sets the stage for a collaborative journey.
In workshops, we gather feedback and ideas from community members. This helps tailor our approach and ensures everyone's voice is heard.
Once designs are finalized, we implement the platform while keeping the community involved. This way, we maintain alignment with their values and vision.
